Overall
A fantastic update to the 5800, Nokia´s flagship music device. The 5530 has been trimmed of certain features and specs Nokia has deemed inessential, and the result is a slimmer, better looking and less clunky phone we think is an absolute winner.

Look and Design
Thanks to the jettisoning of certain features and a slight reduction in screen size (although the quality has been upped, increasing the brightness and sharpness), the whole packge is substantially smaller and thinner than the 5800. It´s also been given a material overhaul, losing the slightly too-plasticky look and feel of the previous handset.
The newly redesigned homescreen and contacts bar also add to the increase in slickness, with the drag-to-scroll carousel feature especially impressive
Conclusion
If you love using your phone to carry around and listen to your music, there´s probably no better choice out there for you. The 5530 is a fantastic update to an already great product. And did we mention that it´s launching at a far lower price than the 5800 did? Well, we just did! So go grab yourself a bargain.
