Telenor (Pakistan) has collaborated with Opera to introduce Opera Mini 4.2 to its subscribers. This browser is specially designed for Pakistani users with several local and frequently used global websites as quick links. It includes the most popular shortcuts and bookmarks for local and global websites such as Geo TV, DawnNews, Chowk, Facebook and many others. When compared to default phone browsers, web pages are compressed by up to 90 percent of their original size for speed. Users can also save pages offline for reviewing later.

            What’s New?

            Upon downloading Opera Mini 4.2 Telenor users will experience:

·        Multiple language versions including Urdu and Pashto.

·        Shortcuts and bookmarks of pages customized for users in Pakistan , based on interne usage trends in Pakistan.

·        Funky new skins to personalize the look of Opera Mini.

·        Opera Link support for notes, allowing users to sync their notes between the PC and Opera Mini.

·        Improved real-time streaming protocol (RTSP). This allows more mobile phones to support streaming mobile video.
